China’s Yi Jianlian of the New Jersey Nets hopes to be back in the team’s lineup within the month after the MRI revealed that the damage on his knee was not too bad after all. He was injured in their game against Charlotte Bobcats Monday night, November 2.

Sacramento Kings recently signed Ime Udoka. The 6’6 swingman played for the San Antonio Spurs the past two seasons before joining Portland Trail Blazers in the pre-season. He was later waived by Trail Blazers just before the regular season opened.

Newly-acquired Mike Miller of the Washington Wizards sprained his left shoulder in their game against Miami Heat Tuesday night, November 3 and may miss Wizards’ next few games.

Former Olympian Nancy Lieberman will become the first female D-League Coach. She will mentor Frisco, an affiliate of Dallas Mavericks in the coming 2010-2011 NBA Developmental League season.
